Procedure for carrying out a facial

Facial is a process of using different kinds of treatment to treat your skin such as creams, exfoliation, peels, massage and facial mask. It is a very great means of taking good care of your skin by helping to nourish it thus create a skin that is well hydrated and beautiful. Facial is done by an esthetician who is a trained and qualified professional in this field of skin care. Facial has well laid procedure which is as follows:
The first step is to clean the skin thoroughly using sponges or pads made of cotton and another product specifically chosen for type of your skin such as dry skin, oily skin, normal skin, sensitive skin among others. Every type of skin has its own cleansing product very different from those of other skin types.
The second step is the analysis of the skin .This is where the aesthetician looks at the skin using a bight magnifying light while covering the client’s eyes to avoid eye damage. This bright light helps the expert to identify the condition of the skin thus aiding him or her in coming with the light facial for that particular skin.
Then exfoliation is done using either chemical exfoliates or mechanical exfoliates. A steam vapor is usually applied to your face directly during mechanical exfoliation though other facials are using steam towels.
Then  blackheads or the whiteheads are extracted .This is optional  and is done when the client want s it as extraction  can result in   damaged capillaries  and even discoloration  if done incorrectly or done on a sensitive skin..Also different clients have different tolerations to pains caused by extraction. On thon or even ruddy skin, extraction can be very uncomfortable.
Then facial massage is done by using very classic and efficient strokes. This is done in order to relax the client and also stimulate the skin and other muscles.
Then a facial mask is applied. This depends on the type of your skin and also the condition of the client skin during the facial process.
Then toners are applied to the skin as well as the protective creams. This is the step that brings out the beauty of the skin in carrying and differentiates it from other skins that have not had any facial.
The final step is where the esthetician advice to the client on how to carry out home care for his or her skin until the next visit to the facility.
